Dominic Choy established the Howin Group of companies in the 1980s comprising architectual consultancy, property and land development, engineering R&D and hospitality. In 1991, Choy and Kajima Corporation developed the largest project in Australia at the time, Market City. 

Since graduating from the University of New South Wales with honours in Architecture, Dominic Choy has enjoyed a successful career in business while designing unique and beautiful structures.   

Dominic diversified his talents to combine his love of great food and design expertise to open a successful chain of Choys Eating Houses.    
 

As a self-taught artist, Dominic Choy uses his craft to express ideas and ideals. While his architectural work follows more rigid creative pathways, art allows Dominic to take continually develop skills on building perspectives. He enjoys exploring classical realism into the more abstract. Intensive Zen study allows him to integrate abstract ideas with traditional Chinese painting.
