Growing up in a humble village of southeast China's Guangdong Province, Dominic Choy never  imagined the life journey he would embark upon. Instilled with a deep connection to traditional Chinese beliefs, Mr Choy travelled to Australia as a young man where he worked as a kitchen hand to support his studies. His hard work payed off, seeing him graduate from the University of New South Wales with an honours degree in architecture.

Mr Choy went on to enjoy an exciting and successful career in business, becoming the youngest Australian Chinese man listed in Forbes rich-list. 

Strongly influenced by Taoist and Zen philosophy, Mr Choy's designs - from restaurants to major commercial developments - all have one thing in common: they are planned with one element missing, the spectator. So when that person enters the space, they complete the scene.
